As the battle for search on mobile devices moves forward, alliances continue to be formed. The latest is a deal between Microsoft and Sprint to provide Microsoft's search engine on Sprint's mobile phones.

"Starting on Thursday, customers of the third-largest U.S. carrier will find Microsoft's Windows Live search bar at the top of Sprint's menu page when they access the Web."
