ClickTracks, one of my personal favorite web analysis tools just won their third straight ClickZ Excellence Award in the Research and Analytics category. It's no surprise really, ClickTracks is affordable for small to mid size businesses and delivers some of the best "out-of-the-box" ROI analysis I've seen. After ClickZ tallied reader votes, ClickTracks was named "Best Web Analytics Tool," an award that they've won every year that it has been given.
"Winners of the ClickZ Marketing Excellence Award have received a solid, and critical, endorsement," said Rebecca Lieb, Executive Editor of the ClickZ.com Network. "Our readers nominate and vote for the candidates. It's interactive marketers saying what works best in interactive marketing."
ClickTracks is a popular analytics tool for marketers and usability experts because it does an excellent job of providing visual data on the way visitors use a web site. Search marketers can generate detailed ROI reports for Google AdWords, Yahoo/Overture and other paid search campaigns just by adding some simple tracking tags to their URLs and importing .csv reports from the popular PPC sites. Marketers can also find specific usage data and conversion rates for individual keyword phrases, which can be a godsend for a marketer trying to decide where to focus their energies. "We're delighted to be honored again this year," said John Marshall, ClickTracks' CEO. "When we started ClickTracks, it was because we had the sense that marketers were desperate for a web analytics tool that was made especially for them—a tool would give them the information they needed without the noisy data they didn't. I take our company's steady growth, along with reader's choice awards like this, as a sign that we're really on the right track. We'll continue to enhance ClickTracks' feature offerings and functionality to better suit the evolving needs of the modern day marketer."
ClickTracks is available as the advanced Pro version (starting around $3000), in a mid-range Optimizer version (starting around $1200) and in the entry level Analyzer version (starting around $500).
