If you've been wanting to attend a conference to learn more about online marketing, you've got another great shot coming up next month out west. Matt McGee, Mack Collier, Stoney deGeyter and I will be joining several other speakers at the Tri-Cities Convention Center on November 7th for the one day "Learn About Web" conference. If you've balked at conferences recently because you're tightening your belt, you might be happy to hear the show costs just $129, making it an absolute steal!
Learn About Web is being put on by my good friend Craig Sutton and the great folks at BrightWeb Marketing. The show features a full day's worth of information aimed at helping small businesses get the most out of their web sites.
Matt McGee will be offering up his much raved about session on local search. (I'm hoping to sneak into it this time as I still haven't managed to catch it at either SBMU show.) Search Engine Guide's Associate Editor Stoney deGeyter will be geeking out with a course on Site Architecture and Mack Collier will be offering up some insight into the best ways to maximizing blogging for your business.
I'll be doing double duty at the show, offering up a class on link building basics and delivering the keynote during lunch. It's the lunch talk that I'm really looking forward to as it will be a chance to tout some of the old fashioned values I believe small businesses can translate to the web with great results.
There are also classes on web security, marketing to youth, user interface design and several other topics. At $129 total, you really only need to pick up a single worthwhile tip to make your money back. I'm willing to bet you'll pick up a lot more than that. Even if you add a night's hotel stay to the mix, you can still attend this show for a fraction of the cost of pretty much any other one you'll see these speakers at this year. You can register online.
Convinced you want to go, but still a little short on cash? That's ok...I twisted Craig's arm and talked him out of a few passes.
I've got a handful of passes to give out, you simply have to make sure you can make it to Kennewick, Washington on November 7th. All you have to do is tell me why you want to come. You can do it in the comments, on your own blog, on Twitter, or by sky writing it. Just tell me why you'd like to join us and what it could mean for your business. If you do it on your own blog or Twitter, be sure to leave a link to point me in the right direction.
