If you're looking to attend a search conference this year, it's not too late to leave behind the cold weather and head to Vegas next month to join me at PubCon. Programmed by the team over at Webmaster World, PubCon has been one of the top search engine marketing related conferences for the last half a dozen years. It's your chance to mix and mingle with some of the best and brightest in the SEO, Affiliate and Social Media worlds and at less than $900 per person, it's one of the most affordable large-scale shows you'll find.
This year's PubCon takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and runs from November 10-13th. PubCon packs three days with seven (yes, seven) tracks. They also offer a private group training option on Monday and a post show networking event on Friday. I'll be heading out on Monday and will be speaking in three different sessions during the week.
You can catch me on Wednesday on the "Understanding The Complex Social Marketing Playing Field" panel. I'm looking forward to this one if for no other reason than one of my co-panelists is Ben Huh, CEO of Pet Holdings, Inc. If you're not familiar with Ben, you're probably familiar with his sites. He's the brains behind I Can Has Cheezburger?, the Fail Blog and one of my favorite sites: GraphJam.
Later that afternoon I'll be joining Brian Chappell, Giovanni Gallucci and Matt Siltala for Interactive Site Reviews: Focus on Brand and Social Reputation Management. It will be a great chance to come in and ask the panelists for some help with your own sites and brands.
On Thursday morning you'll find me on the Reputation Monitoring and Management panel with John Carcutt, Rhea Drysdale and Brian Chappell. In that session, I'll be coming at things from the small business perspective, sharing some tips and tricks on both tracking your reputation and responding to issues online.
If you're a fan of Search Engine Guide Associate Editor Stoney deGeyter, you'll have a chance to hear him speak as well. Stoney will be sharing his insight on the Keyword Research, Selection and Optimization panel on Tuesday afternoon with Misty Locke, Marty Weintraub and Ken Jurina.
If you've been looking for a training event or conference for yourself or your marketing team, visit the PubCon site and register now to join us at next month's show. If you register online before October 31st, using the code "se-53710" the team at PubCon will you a 10% discount, knocking the price down to just over $800.
