It's the new year and registrations are starting to roll in for Search Engine Guide's upcoming Small Business Marketing Unleashed event. If you've been thinking about joining us in Houston this April, you may want to think about reserving your spot son. Registration is limited and there aren't many on site rooms left.
If you hadn't heard about our conference yet, here's a quick overview.
The Small Business Marketing Unleashed conference runs April 21st & 22nd in Houston, Texas at the Northwest Forest Conference Center.
On the first day, we'll be running two tracks of general sessions. We'll have a search focused track and an online marketing track. Each session will feature a single speaker really digging into the meat of their subject and offering up some solid take-home advice.
On day two, we'll break things down into smaller workshop style groups. These session will run a little bit longer and are more classroom oriented. The speakers on day two will build off of what you learned on day one and will actually walk you through the steps of setting up your campaigns or making your marketing plans. Attend the keyword research class and we'll actually walk you through the process of doing your keyword research, narrowing the terms and even writing some sample content.
This isn't a show for experienced industry insiders. This is a show for small business owners and in-house marketers who are looking to move beyond broad overviews and really get some solid information on how to improve their online marketing. We won't send you home with a "to-do" list. We'll send you home with part of the work already done.
Wondering what topics we'll be covering? You can view the full conference schedule on the event site.
The early bird registration price of $850 is good until March 1st. If you plan to stay on-site, you may want to book a little sooner though. I spoke with the conference center today and on-site rooms are limited. We'll be posting back-up hotels soon, but for those who like to be in the heart of the action, it would be a good idea to book by the end of the month.
(Incidentally, if there are any corporate readers looking to get some great exposure to the small business audience, we do still have some sponsorship slots open. You can download our sponsor packet or contact me directly for more information.)
