Artiklz - [New Window] - Artiklz enables conversational search by aggregating discussions around the social media, answering the question of who, where, why, when, and what people are discussing across the social media. Artiklz accomplishes this by providing a series of widgets which serve to aggregate and manage user generated blog or website content. The rationale is simple; Content Sharing, Rating, Review and Blogging services have become the mainstream venues for communicating and connecting publicly for a vast majority of the internet population. And Artiklz's goal is to be the centralized aggregator for this dynamic user generated content.

OneRiot - [New Window] - OneRiot is different than traditional search engines for one super reason: we index our search results according to their current relevance and popularity; they index by looking at the links between different pages. This is why other search engines often wind up with Wikipedia-style info as the top-ranked search results - which is great, useful information, but not necessarily the most current info available on that subject. Thanks to the new capabilities of the realtime web, people are increasingly interested in the freshest or most popular information available on a subject, and we order our search results to reflect that.

Twingly - [New Window] - Twingly.com is a blog search engine featuring a spam-free, faceted, social search for the global blogosphere.

Our servers are working hard every day to grow the spam-free index to include more and more blogs. In order to accomplish this, we utilized a massive scale chain of trust. Basically we create a whitelist of approved blogs which we grow using the link structure of the blogosphere.

When an approved blog links to another blog, that blog also gets approved after a while. But once in a while even real blogs link to fake blogs, which means that there will be a leak in the chain of trust. The spammy blog that gets approved will in turn approve potentially thousands of other spam blogs. When we detect this (i.e. through users reporting spam), we can follow the chain of trust upstream to find the faulting link and remove it. Which then disapproves the entire cluster of spam blogs.
