Alfred University Summer Art Camp - [New Window] - This summer institute is a 5-day intensive course in establishing preparation for applying to art school. Topics will include "Building a Strong Portfolio" and "Careers in the Arts." The schedule includes portfolio reviews, drawing sessions, a trip to a professional artist's studio and a presentation on different artists' career paths, such as studio artists, museum/gallery work and graphic arts/web design. The number of participants will be kept small to allow for individualized attention. We will accept 20 students into the program this year. Students are required to bring their portfolios to campus with them for review. This program is for students entering their junior or senior year of high school who wish to continue their education at a top art school.

Camp Ambrosia Art Camp - [New Window] - Our summer art camp is for kids ages 9 to 17. The program consists of daily excursions to exquisite mountain trails for hiking as well as biking, tubing on the New River, horseback riding, and even a scenic steam train ride! We keep the number of campers to a minimum of 12 each session so that we can maintain a very safe, and loving environment. The children are given the respect and the attention they deserve. They are also housed in our bed and breakfast inn, with approximately 5 campers per room. Our adult to child ratio is 4 :1 including our visiting artist, counselor, and directors. We are CPR and first aid trained with safety in mind always.

DaVinci Experience Science and Art Summer Day Camps - [New Window] - DaVinci Experience brings science and arts alive for children ages 5-13 years old. We explore exciting themes in depth through hands-on art activities, science experiments and outdoor games.

Digital Media Academy Summer Camp - [New Window] - Kids learn best by doing. Dunedin Fine Art Center Summer Camp - [New Window] - The visual arts camp exposes students to a variety of media, techniques, art history, and multicultural appreciation in a fun and educational environment. Each week there are four classes grouped by age daily for 6 - 10 year olds. Working with the theme of the week, the students rotate through drawing/painting, 3 Dimensional Art, hands on museum and Clay for an hour a class per day.

Fine Arts Camp at French Woods - [New Window] - Practice, learn and hone your (child's) ability the fine arts at French Woods fine arts summer camp. We offer a wide variety of classes and activities in many fine art and craft disciplines. Campers can be involved in intense workshops or dabble in any area they are interested in.

Geralyn's Art Studio Art Camp - [New Window] - A different art activity each day ranging from Color Pencils, Pastels, Watercolor, Acrylics, Collage, baking (clay, cookies, muffins), crafts, cartooning, clay molding, decoupage, frame making, gardening, jewelry making, papier-mache, puppets, story time, and tie dye. Creative projects created by having fun.

Indianapolis Art Center Fine Arts Day Camp - [New Window] - Fine Arts Day Camp is a visual arts program. Campers will learn many of the following: painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, hand-built ceramics, collographs, papermaking, mask-making, photography, fabric dyeing, and much more.

Lawrence Academy Artist in Residence - [New Window] - This open studio camp is for teens with an interest in art who wish to share their love for creativity with peers. This art program will encourage students to explore new avenues for their talent by spending time learning and creating in various art mediums in Lawrence Academy’s studios. Classes emphasize creativity and sharing of ideas and techniques. Practicing artists will be leading students through new techniques and media in the mornings while afternoons will be spent creating and exploring areas of personal interest. This camp includes some outdoor recreation time. The director will be in touch with campers before the camp session to review their art interests.

Oxbow Summer Art Camp - [New Window] - Based on the Oxbow semester model, these sessions focus on creating project-based art in a wide variety of media. Taught by professional artists and teachers, the first week campers explore the fundamentals in drawing, painting, sculpture, fabrication and photography, to find and develop their own particular interests and creativity. They are also exposed to a wide variety of artistic styles and different artist's work.

The Farm Arts Camp - [New Window] - Children have a keen natural sense of design and composition. At the Farm, we let ourselves be surprised over and over by the beauty and inventiveness of our campers' art works. Even years later, we discuss the accomplishments of the children attracted to the visual arts. "Remember those amazing fish prints done by Haley five years back?" We feel that our role in the visual arts is to foster our campers' native talents and to stay away from the imposition of rigid academic standards. Children already know how to be artists.

Visual Arts Camp - [New Window] - Serious high school artists are invited to participate in exciting, diverse, and creative art experiences at the Visual Arts Camp. Working with faculty, students, and alumni from the NIU School of Art, campers are encouraged to be innovative as they experiment with new materials, techniques, and ideas while producing portfolio-quality work in a university environment. Group art activities, performance art presentations, and recreational activities complete the schedule for this fun-filled and diverse week. Presentations by nationally known artists, art historians, and talented studio artists enrich and enhance the hands-on studio experiences. The week concludes with a gala art show in the Olson Gallery for families and friends.

Young Artists in Residence Fine Arts Day Camp - [New Window] - Inspired by Montalvo's Lucas Artists Programs and housed in the program's artist studios, this week long day camp will introduce young minds to diverse artistic disciplines in workshops taught by top Bay Area artists. Each Young Artist will participate in process-oriented activities designed to foster creativity in an atmosphere of experimentation and exploration. The experience will encourage friendships through the sharing of ideas and collaborative projects while allowing for individual growth and self-expression.
