Home: Price Guides: Where to Buy Appliances for the Best Prices

We've put together this directory of manufacturers and price comparison search engines so when you are ready to buy appliances you know where to search for the lowest prices. This will allow you to minimize the time you spend searching for the best appliance prices.

The first step is visiting the major appliance manufacturers so you can view their products and get detailed information about the products they sell. As you see appliances that have the features you want, write down the manufacturer name and model number.

Once you have narrowed down your choice of appliances you are interested in buying, take your list of model numbers and visit the price comparison search engines we've listed further down this page. This is a much faster method of finding where to buy appliances compared to visiting each site that sells the items one at a time.

A few points to keep in mind about buying appliances:

1. Don't forget to include sales tax in your costs. Purchasing from many online appliance retailers will often mean you don't have to pay sales tax.

2. Find out if there are any delivery charges. Some stores charge for delivery and some don't. Depending on how much you are spending on appliances you can sometimes get the delivery fee waived even if there is a delivery charge listed.

3. If you are not planning to keep your used appliances you will want to find out if the store provides a haul away service. As with delivery charges, some stores provide appliance haul away services for free while others charge for it.

4. Don't forget to get accurate measurements of the space where your appliances will be installed in your kitchen.
