Camper Manufacturers

TrailManor
TrailManor was founded in 1983, but their story goes back much farther. Before the first TrailManor was shipped to a dealer, the design went through ten years of prototypes and testing. It was only after the innovative TrailManor design was thoroughly tested and proven that it was made available to the public. TrailManor produces a trailer that's light in weight, easy to tow, engineered to last and high in resale value.

Chalet RV
Chalet RV is the Nations leading manufacturer of ultra lightweight hard-sided folding travel trailers. Coachmen RV
When you leave your driveway, there's one thing you shouldn't take with you: worry. That's why safety isn't optional on a Coachmen RV. We build agility, safety and security into every recreational vehicle we make.

Coleman Camping Trailers
FTCA, Inc., the manufacturer of Coleman Camping Trailers, is focused solely on camping trailers and is committed to building only the best. We are a highly capable fabricator - not just assemblers like most competitors, which means we design and build the critical components of our products in our own facility. Most competitors outsource their vital components, but we still sew our tents, engineer our lift systems, build our furniture, and focus on continued innovation, quality, value, and especially customer service - like no one else in the industry.

Hi-Lo Trailer Co.
Hi-Lo Trailer Co. is a proud to manufacture telescoping travel trailers. Hi-Lo revolutionized the travel trailer industry over 50 years ago by offering a trailer that stores compactly, tows more safely and yet offers four season camping with all the comfort and convenience expected from an upright trailer. Our goal is to provide you with a trailer that tows safely, saves fuel, lives comfortably, and lasts for many years. We take great pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that is put into each of our units.

Lance Camper
The genesis of Lance began back in 1965 when Richard Murray started M&M Trailer Supply in North Hollywood, California. Murray later changed the name from M&M to Lance. At that time Lance campers were sold factory-direct, and even then, Lance was the name in truck campers.

Lance is one of only a handful of prestigious RV manufacturers to earn the Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association's DSI (Dealer Satisfaction Index) Quality Circle Award eight years running.

Lance associates take great pride in earning this recognition because it's a true measure of how our dealers feel about Lance and the quality of our products and support services that we provide.

Jayco
"Liveable" may mean what you see, what you feel or even what you trust about a recreational vehicle... But one thing is for certain, "liveable" is the reason why more people across North America are making Jayco their choice in RVs. Located in the heart of Amish country and with a history dating back to 1968, Jayco's mission has remained unchanged since the beginning: to build exemplary RV's and provide customers with extraordinary service after the sale.

Palomino RV

Camper Blue Book Guide

If you take the time to investigate a variety of resources for current prices and assigned values you'll be far ahead of the game. In addition to the hard copy Kelley Camper Blue Book you can purchase, there are classified sites, blogs, forums, news sites, etc.

What makes these sites worth visiting is the fact that the values you'll see are current. Review the asking prices and what the final sales prices are to get an idea of where the market is. You may be surprised how they line up against blue book.

Also, don't be in a rush. If you spend a little extra time you may find a really motivated seller or buyer that will more than make up for your time investment.

Kelley Camper Blue Book - Kelley publishes their official guide that you can get for $56 per year with pricing dates from 1986 to 2007.

NADA Camper Book Price - This is a must visit on the list of resources to check. There is an extensive price guide with values from 1975 to 2008.

RV Trader Online
Listings of new or used folding camper RVs. The nice thing about this site is you can browse by area so you get a better idea of what the prices are locally and what you can expect.

RV-Coach Online - If it's about your RV, it's here. RV and bus conversion information including rental, maintenance, repair, and insurance. Two things really make this site a great source for researching camper market values. First is the classifieds section. When we visited the classifieds we found everything from a 1976 Toyota Chinook pop-up to a 2005 Lance 1181-F450 Ford. The second great part of the site is the discussions area. Spend a few minutes reviewing the conversations and you'll get a feel for what people are asking and getting.
