I just came across a really cool little tool that I'm excited to play around with. Contxts is a service that automatically texts your contact information to people that request it. They just text to: 50500 with your username as the text and then they get your contact information.

If you would like mine, just text: sagerock to 50500 and you'll get all my contact information.

I used this a few months back, and found it slightly irritating as the format was not uniform across my iphone, blakcberry, nokia. So for that reason, i did not trust the output to use it as a true business tool.

I think that something like this would be cool if it really worked well. SMS and TXT is popular, and auto contact insertion would be great.

I agree with all of those statements. But maybe they will refine it and make it the killer app it has the potential to be.

This can definitely become a very useful tool for business people and people in general when they tweak it to be universal with every type of phone out there. Can this be used in the United Kingdom? I couldn't see anything on the website and this looks like something I will have to try if it's available over here so people I know can get my current contact details easily.

whether this service is free I mean if I am doing text to them looking for contact information then whether I would be charged or company would charge you If they are sending you contact information to others . Can you please explain

Hi Oliver, sorry, I'm not sure about the UK. I kind of think it's a US thing. But you might give it a try and see.

Miami, it's free. So you might take it for a spin to see what you think.

Thanks for watching!
