Both Jennifer Slegg and Jeremy Zawodny have interesting posts this week that speculate on how likely traffic from different engines is to result in AdSense clicks and revenue. The two have analyzed their log files to find out which referrers result in the most click-happy users
Zawodny's blog has some interesting bar charts that outline things like which referrers result in the most pageviews, the most earnings and the highest CTR. He also looks at the CPM as broken down by referrals from different engines. Zawodny finds that while Google sends the most traffic and even results in the highest revenues, it's MSN and AOL that produce the best profit per visitor.
