While attending a live conference and having the chance to interact with speakers is a great way to expand your online marketing knowledge, the reality is that many small business can neither afford the money or the time that it takes to attend such shows. With that in mind, it's important to remember that many companies offer free online training opportunities that you can listen to from the comfort of your own office. Danny Sullivan's new Search Marketing Now site has two such seminars coming up before the end of January.

The first event is called "Measuring Search Success 2007" and actually runs tomorrow, so you'll want to register immediately if you'd like to attend. The webcast starts at 1pm EST and features Chris Sherman providing an overview of the many web analytics options available to marketers. He'll also cover topics like how to use your analytics findings to fine tune your campaigns for even better ROI.

Coming up on January 25th, Chris Sherman will be presenting a session called "Social Search: New Marketing Opportunities." In that session, he'll not only provide a nice overview of social media and social search options, but will also help you learn how to tap into these services to market your business. This session will also begin at 1pm EST. Online registration is available.
