Search Engine Marketing News
Weekly Newsletter - 2005-06-29
I have something very cool for you this week. Our newsletter sponsor is the Link Building Blog, written by Patrick Gavin and Andy Hagans. The blog was launched in May and has already run a string of excellent posts. When it comes to finding good search marketing blogs I'm easily excited because reading them is part of my job. Unfortunately, there are so many now that are... well... not good.
The Link Building Blog IS good and I like the fact that they are focused on a segment of search marketing that is essential. Yep, essential, and not just for improving your search engine ranking through "link popularity." If you want to decrease your reliance on search engines (you should), build the number of incoming links to your site and enjoy the traffic that produces.
Anyway, you can take my recommendation with a grain of salt because they are indeed this week's sponsor. But, I bet if you check it out yourself you'll see I'm not blowin' smoke. :-)
Have a great week!
