We've all heard the lectures on things like usability and why we need to build our sites in a certain way to help get higher conversion rates. The problem is...how do we know what our customers want to see, or where they want to see it?
The eye tracking surveys that have been conducted by Gord Hotchkiss's team over at Enquiro go a long way toward helping us finally move beyond guessing when it comes to knowing where we need to place things on our web pages. Concepts like "the golden triangle" that help map out the region of a web page where most users look first and scan patterns that help marketers figure out where their eyes travel.
If you're interested in learning more about eye tracking studies and how you can put the results to work for you, you'll want to check out today's article by Gord Hotchkiss: Confessions of an Eye Tracking Junkie
