You could call it peer pressure, you could call it a desire to stay one step ahead of the competition, whatever you call it, the Google AdSense team has decided to start their own blog to share some insights into their world. Claiming to offer "a look inside Google AdSense," the new blog should see the addition of a few new posts a week and aims to offer up some tips and suggestions for improving the AdSense on your site.
Rob Kniaz, from AdSense Product Marketing kicked off the blog with a post explaining their motivations for getting it started:
Google is still a pretty small place, so when we heard that our AdWords friends had put together an Inside AdWords blog, it got our competitive juices flowing! It also made us think about all of the information we'd love to share with our publishers – and there's quite a bit of it, from site optimization tips, to product feature descriptions, to ideas on getting more out of AdSense.
The blog just launched earlier this week, so posts are still sparse, but it's likely a worthwhile feed to add to your RSS reader if you're an AdSense publisher. Apparently the purchase of Blogger has inspired some action from the various teams at Google as the AdSense blog joins the already existing AdWords API Blog, Inside AdWords Blog, Blogger Buzz Blog, Google Code Blog and of course the actual Google Blog.
