Usability may be a buzz word these days, and it may be the new "it" thing, but that doesn't mean that it's a trend that is going to come and go and leave you with nothing to worry about. If you're serious about doing business online, you need to worry about more than just search engine marketing. After all, all the traffic in the world won't mean anything if folks can't find their way around your site.
To that end, there's been a movement within the search marketing world to push for more focus on things like usability and accessibility. It makes sense as a site that is accessible and that meets usability standards is almost always search engine friendly.
Learn more about how usability issues can affect your web site in today's featured article: "Expanding on Usability" by Jim Hedger.
