Barry Schwartz spotted a discussion going on over at the DigitalPoint forums about an eBay seller that claims to be able to increase your AdSense revenues for a monthly fee. The advertiser has quite a few listings up promoting services that will boost Alexa rankings and increase AdSense revenue. There are a variety of options listed, but most are along the lines of "pay me X and I'll make sure you earn Y." While it might be tempting to consider if you're struggling along with AdSense, it's probably a good idea to shy away from this type of offer.

From one of the sales pages:

This will be perfect if you own your own google adsense website. Even if you don't have one, please contact me. I will sell one of my website with promotion for reasonable price

Here's the good part

In average you will make around $30 a day, but to be safe I'm only going to say $20 a day

The maximum I made was $120 a day

DO the math, $20 x 30 = $600

$120 x 30 = $3600

So you get around $600 ~ $3600 guranteed per month

While there's a very small chance that this is legit, chances are much higher that this seller is going to generate fraudulent clicks to your account either through a computer program, or by paying someone else to click on your ads. This type of action violates the AdSense program policies and could get your site removed from the program.

A better option is to visit some of the popular AdSense forums, the excellent JenSense contextual advertising blog, or even purchase an e-book like the one Robert and I like by Joel Comm, What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSense! .
