While it's not unusual for a movie star or tv show to have a fan club, the idea of corporate fan clubs has sort of come to a head recently thanks to web sites and blogs. Self-appointed brand evangelists around the world are online talking up their favorite products and convincing other people to try them out as well.

From sites detailing all of the latest news of companies like Google to Chipotle fan sites that emote about the beauty that is a 22 ounce burrito, blogs and web sites have made it possible for average Americans to promote their favorite products. Smart companies are already looking for ways to take advantage of this free advertising as part of their online marketing strategy.
