Google Desktop Search and Google Video both have joined the realm of official Google blogs this week. The two new blogs work much like the existing Google ones, serving as an outlet for news, updates and interesting bits of information about the particular Google service.
I've been enjoying the Google Video blog, mostly because it's a great way to find some interesting video clips that I'd otherwise be unlikely to stumble across. The documentary about Gypsy refugees in Belgrade mentioned in an early post is as interesting as anything I've ever watched on The History Channel.
The Google Desktop blog will be a place for the team to make announcements about new plug-ins, new updates, or even to pass on information to third party developers that want to create their own programs to work with the Google Deskbar.
