Ask Jeeves announced this past week that they were going to be offering broad matching services for pay per click advertising customers. There's a negative keyword option to go with it as well.

From an email from Ask Jeeves:

You will now be able to expand your campaign coverage by enabling our new Broad Matching feature on your listings. Broad Matching is a more flexible targeting option that will match your listing on a wider range of query combinations involving your targeted keyword. This new feature is available at the keyword level. When a listing is broad matched, it will appear on relevant variations of the targeted term or phrase.

Since Broad Matching will deliver your listing to a wider range of query combinations, we have included a negative keyword option that can be implemented at the campaign level. The negative keyword option is used to exclude specific broad matched queries. For example, if you sell fresh flowers, you may enable Broad Matching on the keyword "flowers", but set a negative keyword for the term "plastic". This will ensure your listing does not appear on the query "plastic flowers".

Whether you want to expand your coverage by using our Broad Matching option or target specific queries using our existing Exact Matching option (or use a combination of both targeting options), you now have a variety of matching options to help manage your campaign performance.
