You may have heard of 301 redirects and know that this is what you need to use if you plan on redirecting a page or a domain to another address. That's fine and dandy, but if you're a non-techie, it can be tough to figure out exactly how you go about doing that. Thankfully, there are folks out there that are willing to help out.

Dave Naylor has a great post over on his blog that provides the code for a 301 redirect in ColdFusion, PHP, ASP and ASP .NET that should make it super easy for you to set things up yourself, or to simply send the code to your host and have them do it for you.
