Last month, I blogged about HBO's decision to use a Google Maps Hack to promote the return of the Sopranos for their final season. Apparently, television fans had similar ideas because lately I've been reading about more and more fan sites that are popping up with customized Google Maps Mashups for their own favorite television series.

Probably the most popular fan creation is the Jack Tracker over at Wayfaring, a hybrid Google Map that notes 24's Jack Bauer travels through Los Angeles. Visitors can click on one of the bubbles and will be treated to a pop-up window that explains the plot point that occurred there that often includes links to photos at Flickr. Wayfaring is also home to TV maps for Veronica Mars

I burned up a decent amount of time on The Geography of Seinfeld while thinking of the spots that I could have hit while I was in NYC for the SES show earlier this month.

Now if only someone could put together a mashup of Lost so that we could figure out where the heck they are.
