Typically when a search engine rolls out a new update, it's supposed to provide results that are better than what existed before. According to many within the industry, that's not necessarily the case with Google's "Big Daddy" update. Barry Schwartz points out an article in The Register along with a round-up of links to forum discussions. If you've noticed problems with 301 redirects, old cache data and spidered pages that never show up in the index, you might want to check out some of Barry's discussion links.
