Apparently, some folks decide to take advantage of those nice stock options so that they can quit their jobs and travel the world. At least that's what one fellow from Yahoo! has done. Found via Jeremy Zawodny is the story of an ex-Yahoo! employee named Andy that is blogging the story of his year long journey around the world. Sure, it's not directly search engine related, but it does give the rest of us some hope that we may also be able to parlay our search engine careers into a nice enough spot that we could also take off on a round the world trek.
