Small business advertisers that are still relying on Chitika's contextual ads as part of their revenue may want to take a few moments to check out a recent blog post by Jennifer Slegg. According to Slegg, she's seen some Chitika units serving up adult content for seemingly innocuous keyword phrases. Case in point? The delivery of an ad for Hustler magazine, including a full image of the magazine cover, on a site that specified "magazine subscriptions" as their keyword. That may mean that it's a good idea to do a quick run-through of your site now and then to see what new products Chitika has decided "fit" with your keyword phrases.
