Source: Microsoft Monitor - One MSN Search benefit is placement as Internet Explorer's default search engine. I would consider any dip in IE browser market share as a threat to MSN Search--and one Microsoft shouldn't ignore. Placement in other browsers helps drive search traffic and paid search revenue elsewhere. Not necessarily to Google anymore, either. For starters, I reckon AOL and Yahoo! won't sit on the slidelines for long. Link to Article
